Welcome to our Norway 2000 Vacation Photo Album!
Terry, my mother and I ventured to Norway July 12 - 28, 2000. This was my 6th
trip to Norway and Terry's first. Due to HUGE demand I've set up this page so
that we can share these precious memories electronically.
I have grouped them in order of places we visited on our trip These are
indicated by the filenames. They mainly consist of pix of mountains, relatives,
tourist attractions and things we saw from the car/boat/plane. Some (or all!)
may not be interesting to some of you!
Here are the sections:
Arctic Circle: A tourist area as you drive into the actual
Arctic Circle!
Kvalvika: An all day hike into the mountains of Lofoten
(Northern Island in Norway)
LastDayInRindal: Our Last day in the town where most of my
relatives live in the mountains in Middle Norway. Lots of pix of family,
valleys, graves(!) and places I remember visiting as a kid.
NorwayJuly16: A day of travelling and rest stops
Raine: Main town in Lofoten. Tourist stuff, Mountains, Dried
Fish, Germans.
RindalParty: A party! Thrown for us! Lots of family shots and a
chair that I destroyed.
Salmon: A tourist stop where you can learn everything you never
wanted to know about this versatile but overrated fish.
Skjermo: Visiting relatives at a cottage in Lofoten. Some
serious sport fishing.
TheRoadBackJuly21-22: Just as it sounds - lots of mountains,
shots from ferries, Knut Hanson's home, whirlpool shots.
Trondheim: Visiting cousins in Trondheim, a city in Middle
Norway. Pix of an historic fort, downtown area and family stuff
